Ticketed Events
Thursday
The Quick Paint Challenge is a timed competition. Juried artists and local participants will have two hours to complete a painting at Inglewood Farms. The public is invited to spectate. Awards will be announced at the end of the evening. Refreshments included.
Friday
Join juror, Phil Sandusky, for a day of plein air drawing. Phil Sandusky is a renowned plein air impressionist landscape and cityscape painter. He will be leading a workshop with instruction and tips on drawing en plein air. Limited seating. Supplies and lunch included.
Sunday
Our culminating event, the Palette Party, will be a feast of Alexandria's best! Taste signature dishes from our many local businesses and sample cocktails and local craft beers. Vote for your favorites while you peruse festival paintings for sale. Juried awards will be announced and artists will be in attendance.
Free Events
Paint the Zoo
Artists will be at the Alexandria Zoo on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 doing live animal painting.

Art Walk
ArtWalk is a community festival sponsored by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana. It's a free, family friendly event. This year, it will take place October 16, 2021 from 12pm-8pm. The museum will have a tent for artists to set up completed works and do demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Nocturnal Paint Out
Join AMoA on Saturday evening (October 16, 2021) for an Illuminated Procession. Experience light art walk through downtown Alexandria, a gift from the museum to our community.
Art Sales
Art Sales
Commission: 70/30; 30% of all art sales will go to the Alexandria Museum of Art. Commission rate applies to all works sold during the Farm to Forest Plein Air Festival.
Exhibit
Artists will be assigned a space in the museum's media room or cafe. Works can be hung up throughout the festival as they are completed. All work must be able to hang to be displayed and sold at the museum. Space is limited, so please keep all paintings under 16"x 20" in size.
Off the Easel
Selling work off the easel is allowed. Please contact the museum to process payments.
Commissions
Commissioned work is allowed at the above rate. Please process all payments through the museum.
